“Baxter is a very important Corgi. He is a Reading Education Assistance Dog. We volunteer at libraries and schools. Because of having elbow dysplasia and surgery, he can become sore and walk with a limp. Dr. Martin has been treating him with acupuncture for 2 years now. He is pain free and ready to run. We maintain his condition by having acupuncture treatments every 6 weeks. Baxter loves Dr. Martin and the care she gives him.”

Dr. Martin has overseen the foaling and reproduction at Milky Way Thoroughbred Farm for 7 years. The farm averages 225 mares bred and 125 foals delivered per year. Dr. Martin’s expertise in all areas of horse husbandry on our farm is excellent. We are thankful every day for her dedication to all animals.

When it was time for us to send our beloved 16-year-old pug mix, Little Dipper, across the rainbow bridge, we called Dr. Martin. She came to our house and helped us say a peaceful goodbye to our sweet dog. She was extremely empathetic and gentle, not only with Dipper but also with our children, who had grown up with this pup. Our family was able to be with him the entire time - comfortable in his own home, surrounded by his human family. It was a lovely transition for him and us, and we can’t thank Dr. Martin enough for her care and compassion.
